On your next visit to the Aquarium be sure to visit our gift and bookstores, where you'll find items related to the Aquarium's exhibits and animals, and the Monterey Bay area. Each of our four stores offers a slightly different assortment of adorable plush, fascinating books, apparel, games and more.
Wild About Otters
Located on the second floor of the Aquarium near the entrance to the Outer Bay exhibit, this store houses a selection of plush animals, apparel, and books relating to the Wild About Otters and Outer Bay exhibit areas.
Splash Zone
Located near the end of the Splash Zone exhibit area by the penguins, this store contains plush animals, apparel, and gifts relating to the Splash Zone exhibits and animals.
Ocean Discovery
Located in our Marine Mammal Hall just across from the main store, the Ocean Discovery store houses a wide variety of children's plush and replica animals, educational books, puzzles, toys, and apparel.
Main Gift & Bookstore
Located next to the main entrance to the Aquarium, this store offers a wide selection of gift items related to the Aquarium's exhibits, as well as books about the Aquarium and surrounding areas, unique jewelry, house wares, and apparel for all ages.
Exchange and Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the merchandise within 30 days for an exchange or refund with your original receipt. Please contact our customer service department for more information.

Hours
The Monterey Bay Aquarium gift and bookstores are open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
July 4th weekend through Labor Day weekend the store will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays for Evenings by the Bay.
Christmas Day the Aquarium and the stores are closed.
