With foundation work complete, the Aquarium building is rising fast. The precast concrete deck is laid, extending the building over the water. With the entire first level in place, construction begins on the second floor. In the center of the building, Kelp Forest and Monterey Bay Habitats exhibit walls disappear as the building rises around them.
